Responsibilities

Develop and Implement HR Strategies : Build and execute comprehensive HR policies and frameworks that align with the company’s growth objectives and drive a high-performance culture.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment : Lead the recruitment process, including developing scalable hiring strategies, sourcing top talent, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Performance Management : Establish and manage performance metrics, accountability systems, and coaching programs to maintain a high-performing workforce.

HR Compliance and Legal Oversight : Ensure the company’s HR practices adhere to all applicable labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Ontario's compliance guidelines.

Employee Engagement and Retention : Develop strategies to foster employee engagement, recognition, and retention through career growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a positive work environment.

Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations : Mediate disputes, manage employee relations, and implement resolution strategies to maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.

HR Systems and Process Optimization : Scale HR systems, workflows, and technology to improve efficiency and ensure that HR operations support the company’s evolving needs as it grows.

Qualifications

Extensive HR Leadership Experience : Proven track record of leading HR functions in high-growth companies, with experience building HR departments and driving organizational change.

Strong Knowledge of HR Compliance : Deep understanding of labor laws, employment standards, and compliance requirements, particularly in Ontario, to ensure legal and ethical HR practices.

Talent Acquisition Expertise : Demonstrated success in creating and executing scalable recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.

Performance Management Proficiency : Experience designing and implementing performance management systems that foster accountability, professional growth, and high performance in a fast-paced environment.

Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving : Ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals and drive organizational success, while also solving complex HR challenges.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Strong ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and engage with employees at all levels of the organization.

HR Technology Savvy : Experience with HR technology systems and tools, with the ability to optimize and scale HR processes to support rapid company growth.
