Houseperson Housekeeping

The Houseperson plays a vital role in supporting the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness organization and efficiency throughout the property. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

  • Provide professional friendly and engaging service at all times.
  • Adhere to housekeeping departmental standards and ensure compliance.
  • Support Room Attendants in efficiently preparing guest rooms.
  • Maintain and organize inventory in housekeeping closets.
  • Promptly respond to guest requests for additional items such as cribs cots and extra towels.
  • Collect soiled linens garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants carts and closets.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures diligently.
  • Report any maintenance issues as needed.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problemsolve effectively.
  • Highly responsible reliable and selfmotivated.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to guest needs maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor at all times.
