This is a unique opportunity to join an established family-owned General Contractor in Ottawa, ONTARIO focused in commercial construction throughout various sectors including High-Rise Residential, Corporate, ICI, and Technology facilities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Project Manager will have experience working with a general contractor on High-Rise projects with experience managing large projects with 20+ storey buildings in the Ontario region. The Project Manager will be responsible for the full project cycle from pre-construction budgeting all the way to contract closeout. This individual will assist the Sr. PM and Project Director in working with all departments (estimating, scheduling, procurement, finance, accounting etc)., as well as work with the leadership team on strategic initiatives to grow the business and execute projects on budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects from start to finish, while guiding a team of construction professionals throughout the project. You must be detail-oriented and be able to work in a fast-pace environment and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be a leader in all projects; therefore, you must be able to handle high-pressure situations very well.
- This candidate will have the following aspects;
- Degree in an Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
- 7-10 years’ experience working in construction project management
- Excellent experience working with high-rise construction projects in the Ontario region
- Sold leadership skills, able to manage a project from start to finish and lead a team
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong computer skills (project management software)
- Outstanding communication skills – able to build and maintain relationships across business and with clients
- Comfortable with presentations and leading meetings
