Who You Are :
You are energetic, collaborative, have strong communication and are organized. As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in assisting in the implementation and maintenance of all Michael Kors Health & Safety programs.
What You’ll Do :
- Support in executing the H&S Strategy across all populations in Canada (Retail, Distribution Center, Corporate) in partnership with the larger NA safety team, to ensure alignment across population
- Responsible to drive, implement, and maintain all H&S initiatives, policies, and procedures in Canada, across all populations
- Responsible to manage all work accidents with the different Canadian Workers Compensation Boards, from claim management and facilitation of the return-to-work
- Act as first point of contact for any H&S related questions, issues, or concerns – all populations
- Utilize available data to support business proposals on H&S initiatives
- Ensure and maintain provincial and federal H&S legal compliance across Canada (i.e. posting requirements, safety committees, first aid, etc.)
- Facilitate H&S trainings, refreshers, etc. for all populations across Canada
- Support the development of relevant H&S material and communications, and ensure consistency across all populations in Canada
- Schedule, conduct, and maintain H&S meetings with relevant business partners to ensure project completion and compliance (i.e. monthly safety meetings, safety committee meetings, etc.)
- Partner with NA counterparts and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of H&S procedures and initiatives, where / when applicable, for all populations
- Track and maintain all health and safety representatives / first aiders throughout our Canadian stores and ensure that all representatives are maintaining compliancy based on provincial requirements
- Partner with LP and HR for various ad-hoc projects
