Position 40 hours / weekReporting to the CEO, you are responsible for the following tasks : - Be a driving force in product development.- Study the customer's needs to design an execution and implementation plan on Autocad 2D.- Communicate the brief to the design team so that they can execute the initial request.- Review and validate the team's drawings- Interact with production and assembly to support their execution- Apply corrective actions in response to changes or developments in the project.- Other related tasksVotre profil- Thoroughness, application- Self-confidence and ambition - able to see the big picture- Pedagogy and communication skillsWe're looking for someone with a background in civil engineering, more specifically in steel structures, to support the drafting team in the design of the company's manufacturing products.Your profile- 1 to 2 years' experience in design- Good oral and written English, bilingual French- ING designation from the Order of Engineers, mandatory- Experience in cold-formed steel, mandatory- Background in civil engineering before turning to manufacturing- Knowledge of autocad 2D- Salary : $100k - $115k depending on experience- Mainly home office position, face-to-face training, full insurance, RRSP, paid vacation negotiable depending on experience.
