Description de posteWork closely with the Marketing Specialist to create visually appealing social media content and graphics that drive engagement and resonate with target audiences. Work closely with the Marketing Specialist to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions. Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, and other creatives to produce cohesive and effective marketing materials. Create and edit multimedia content, including videos and animations, for use in marketing campaigns and digital platforms. Assist in designing website assets, landing pages, and user interface elements to enhance the user experience and support web marketing objectives. Assist with photo editing, retouching, and creating image assets that enhance brand storytelling and visual impact. Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and the final product aligns with the project specifications. Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers, to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed materials. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency. Propose new ideas and creative concepts to enhance the company’s visual communication efforts. Event Coordination : Assist the Marketing Specialist with event planning and logistics. Promotional Material Preparation : Support the creation and distribution of event related promotional materials, including brochures, sell sheets, email announcements, and social media posts, to maximize event visibility. Engage with Attendees to Enhance Brand Awareness : Interact with event attendees, answer customer inquiries, and actively represent the U-Pak Group of Companies to foster positive connections and increase brand recognition. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a corporate or agency setting. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design software. Experience with WordPress is an asset. Experience with multimedia design, including video editing and animation, is an asset. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
Overview
The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and ensuring visual consistency across all marketing channels. This role will involve designing digital and print materials, supporting content creation for social media and the web, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver visually appealing, on-brand designs for the U-Pak Group of Companies, which includes U-Pak, Emerald, Traxxside, Kerry Caven, and MCC.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation :
- Brand Consistency : Ensure brand consistency by adhering to established style guidelines and contributing to brand assets, such as templates, icons, and typography styles.
- Design and produce a variety of materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, social media graphics, e-blast templates and presentations.
- Develop Visual Content : Create engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, website assets, and advertisements.
