Proven ability to drive financial growth and manage large-scale operations. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills. Experience with sales, marketing, and customer reservations within the travel and tourism sector.
We are working with an organization within the tourism industry seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead their Vancouver location. This person will be responsible for overseeing all staff, budgets, and operations of the location. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels at improving efficiency, increasing profitability, and driving overall business success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set clear objectives, develop and implement strategic growth plans, and lead a high-performing team.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue growth strategies.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless efficiency and an exceptional customer adventure.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and vocational standards while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Provide updates to senior leadership, collaborate across departments, and engage with external stakeholders.
- Maintain high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Represent the business at key industry events and establish relationships within the sector.
- Other duties as assigned.
