Tandem is recruiting for a FULL-TIME POSITION as a CONTROLS PLC TECHNICIAN (Type F skill set) with a minimum of 5 years experience to support our client’s projects in our WINDSOR, ON LOCATION .
This position involves working offsite at the client's location.

Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering, or equivalent, and / or with 5 years controls experience.
- Maintain safety equipment such as Safety PLCs, light Curtains, Fanuc DCS.
- Develop and maintain HMI systems using Allen Bradley Factory Talk View ME Software.
- Understand and follow Stellantis (Chrysler / FCA) PLC and HMI programming standards.
- Understand and control ABB and Fanuc Robots, including app errors and functions.
- Install and maintain SEW, Allen Bradley and Nidec / Comau Frequency Drives.
- Proficiency in Windows and networking.
- Experienced in DeviceNet and Ethernet controls networks.
- Proficient in RsNetworx.
- Experience with Stellantis FIS system, including workbook modifications.
- Ability to communicate, and instruct changes and document as needed.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing including Sealer / Adhesive, Resistance and Mig welding, Belt transfers, and robotic material handling
- Understand and follow legislative safety standards and regulations (CSA).
- Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines, multiple priorities and fluctuating and conflicting schedules
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task with multiple projects
Responsibilities and Duties :
The Controls PLC Technician is responsible for, but not limited to the following :
Salary : $40-$55 CDN / HOURLY
