This OpportunityWe are currently looking to fill three Part-Time PSW / Support Service Attendant / Health Care Aide positions for our Outreach Attendant Services program in the Niagara Region (St. Catharines, Grimsby, Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, Welland, Port Colborne).Starting wage is $21.95 inclusive of the $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients. The wage enhancement does not apply to training, travel and paid leave. Valid driver's licence, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle required Roles and responsibilities Assists clients in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures : Personal careLifts and TransfersRising / retiringBowel and bladder proceduresMeal preparation and feedingRange of motion exercisesOther light housekeeping duties Performs duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.The Support Services Attendants will be required to work multiple shifts (i.e. workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays) that vary between locations through theNiagara Region.
