What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Prepare, slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat meals according to customer requests.
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
• Stock and replenish deli cases and displays to ensure freshness and product availability.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and ovens safely and efficiently.Monitor product quality and remove expired or damaged items.Assist with merchandising and promotional displays to enhance the customer experience.
• Perform cleaning duties including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Deli product knowledge and merchandising experience considered an asset
• Customer service driven
• Strong Communication Skills
• Able to stand for prolonged periods
• Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
