As the province’s largest energy provider with more than 100 years of knowledge and experience, we proudly deliver renewable energy, natural gas, electricity and propane to 1.3 million customers.

We're actively seeking new talent to join our mission of delivering a stronger energy future in B.C. As one of BC's Top Employers with a diverse team of over 2,700 employees, we are committed to a safe and inclusive culture where each of us can connect, belong, and grow. Join us, and together, let's shape a brighter future for B.C.

Position Overview

Not only do you have years of construction experience under your belt, but your knowledge of natural gas infrastructure is second to none. Safety for yourself and your peers is always your top priority, and all of your operations decisions are focused on safeguarding the well-being of everyone around you. If this sounds like you, you’ll be a great fit as our Operations Supervisor.

Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you value building connections with your colleagues to create a welcoming, safe and inclusive workplace. You’re always looking for ways to continually improve processes and procedures and develop your skills to best lead your team.

We pride ourselves on serving energy to our customers sustainably, safely and reliably. With the skills and values you bring to the table, we want you to join us in rethinking our energy future.

In year 1, you will:

  • Familiarize yourself with the software and applications used to schedule and complete deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Champion our safety culture to safeguard against accidents and injuries.

In year 2, you will:

  • Expand your knowledge of resource and administrative budgets.
  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders and municipal contacts.
  • Partner with peers and internal stakeholders in developing strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence.

What it takes:

  • Five years of management experience with a focus on natural gas infrastructure. Post secondary diploma considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in construction, underground utilities, and emergency response is an asset.
  • A passion for developing quality solutions with a safety-focused mindset.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to strengthening connections in the workplace.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite such as Word, Excel, etc.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
