Client :  Big 5 Bank

Location : Downtown Toronto. Hybrid : 3 days in office per week.

Duration of Contract / Perm : 12-months

Hours / week :   hrs / wk. 9-5 PM, M-F

Start date : April 2025

Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager with extensive experience in Equities and Prime Services to join our Capital Markets team. The Project Manager will be responsible for the project roadmap and plan, supporting workstream leads to meet deadlines, budget, and quality expectations. The PM will also own key deliverables and support business analysis as needed. This role involves close collaboration with Equity, Prime Services, and Collateral systems stakeholders across Capital Markets, as well as external vendors.

Key Accountabilities :

• Develop and manage project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Create comprehensive business cases to support project initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including desk heads and senior management.
• Formulate and implement strategies for Equities, Prime Services, and Collateral systems.
• Structure and organize end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring successful execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the project, representing the project to desk heads and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with front office teams, business units, and organizational departments to ensure project success.
• Leverage technical background to address challenges and drive project outcomes.
• Manage projects related to data, with a focus on platforms like Databricks.
