We are seeking a Communications Student, within our Canadian Industrial Division in Edmonton, AB that is available for 4 month starting in May 2025 . This position will be under the direct supervision of the Communications Manager. As a Communications Student, you will contribute to our team by :

Responsibilities

Reviewing and editing various internal documents and marketing related material

Writing copy for proposals, marketing materials, project profiles, resumes, award submissions, notes to staff, etc.

Assisting with developing overall proposal strategy and apply that strategy to the proposal in a manner that is consistent with Corporate objectives / policies / goals.

Providing support to the Marketing team, as required

Special assignments, as required

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role :

Strong writer and skilled editor

High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

Highly organized self-starter

Excellent computer, word processing, desktop publishing, and researching skills

Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
