About the role

Join ANDY Warehouse as a Forklift Operator, where you'll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by performing a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of warehouse processes to meet operational and customer satisfaction goals. Be a key player in our dynamic and collaborative environment, making a meaningful impact in logistics service excellence.

What you’ll do here :

• Receiving and Processing Shipments Unloading Trucks : Safely unloading goods from delivery vehicles. Inspection : Checking items for damage or defects upon arrival. Documentation : Verifying and recording shipments against packing slips or invoices.
• Inventory Management Sorting : Organizing goods into appropriate storage locations. Stocking Shelves : Placing items in designated areas. Inventory Tracking : Using inventory management systems to track stock levels and update records.
• Order Fulfillment Picking Orders : Selecting items based on customer or production orders. Packing : Safely and securely packing items for shipment. Labeling : Printing and attaching shipping labels.
• Warehouse Maintenance Organization : Keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Safety Checks : Ensuring that equipment, such as forklifts, is in good working condition. Compliance : Following safety protocols and regulations.
• Equipment Operation Forklift Operation : Using forklifts or pallet jacks to move heavy items. Conveyor Systems : Operating machinery to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Communication and Coordination teamwork : Collaborating with other team members to meet deadlines. Reporting : Communicating inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
• Additional Duties
• Quality Control : Inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Returns Handling : Processing returned items and updating inventory.
• Cycle Counting : Conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
