As we continue with our growth strategy, we are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Sprinkler Fitter based in Edmonton, AB.

The Sprinkler Fitter will report to the Commercial Operation Manager or his designate. We are seeking a customer-focused, highly organized, and experienced fitter for a permanent position, with previous experience in new installations and renovation / retrofit work.

Key Responsibilities :

A Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Certified Sprinkler Fitter with a valid trade certification (e.g., Red Seal, Journeyman Ticket).
• A member of UA Local 488 in good standing.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
• The majority of work is all above head.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and at multiple locations.
• Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, an ability to learn quickly, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Security Clearance is an asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
