Lead Python Developer / Software Engineer Toronto / WFH to C$130,000
Opportunity to join a growing, global, FinTech services company that has seen 30-40% year on year growth for the past 10 years and has ambitious growth plans, as they expand their presence in Canada.
As a Lead Python Developer you'll take a vital role within the client success team. You'll become a trusted partner, liaising with clients to define requirements and deliver new features as well as monitoring systems to ensure no downtime and providing 3rd line application support to ensure complete client satisfaction. You'll also help to mentor, coach and develop others, in time building a small team.
Location / WFH :
You'll be based in Toronto three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
About you :
- You have strong Python and Django software development experience, Rust would also be great but not essential as you can pick it up on the job
- You are collaborative with great communication skills and happy to work directly with clients, building strong working relationships
- You have a good knowledge of AWS
- You have experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Ideally you will have experience with FinTech or financial services environments
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
- You are a Canadian citizen or hold a valid work permit
