On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is fully remote , and the Client is based in Victoria, BC.

Summary of the Role :

The Business Analyst will support Project Nova, working under the Senior Manager of Service Delivery, Technology. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring alignment with project governance and delivery standards.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Support Agile project execution using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Utilize Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for documentation and project tracking.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical teams to develop solutions.
• Assist in data modeling, process modeling, and operational support activities.

This is a 5-month contract with the option to extend for an additional 12 months . The role is fully remote . The successful candidate will be required to provide 2 references and undergo a background check before an offer is made.
