Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in providing professional & thorough cleaning services. You will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining air ducts and dryer vents for residential, strata and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients, ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the capability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize air duct systems and dryer vents following industry standards
• Assess and troubleshoot issues related to air flow, potential clogs, and duct efficiency
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment for duct cleaning
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining service details and providing tips for ongoing maintenance
• Document work by taking before and after photos, and complete service reports accurately for record-keeping purposes
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations
• Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as required.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in HVAC, air duct cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not required

Ability to handle physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong communication skills, with a customer-focused approach

High attention to detail and commitment to quality service

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance work

Candidates who possess a combination of these skills will be highly regarded for this position
