An industry-leading food manufacturing company in Brantford has an opportunity for you to step into a Plant Manager position. Offering $110,000 annually with flexibility based on experience, this full-time role features day shifts with flexible scheduling options, comprehensive day-one benefits, 3-4 weeks vacation, and 3% RRSP matching. You will lead a dedicated team of 20, driving operational excellence, food safety, and overall facility success.

Responsibilities
- Guide daily manufacturing operations, production planning, and staff scheduling to satisfy client requirements.
- Provide clear leadership, mentorship, and daily direction to line supervisors, lead hands, and operators.
- Enforce rigorous compliance with HACCP plans, GFSI standards, and occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Oversee facility Sanitation Programs, equipment maintenance, and pest control operational standards.
- Monitor material usage, track productivity metrics, and implement strategies to minimize overall facility waste.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams and senior executives to resolve operational or safety issues promptly.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience within a food manufacturing facility.
- Proven background managing teams, mechanical maintenance, Health and Safety, and Labour Standards.
- 3 years of post-secondary education covering Quality Systems, Materials Management, or related disciplines (asset)
- Valid certificate of training in Sanitation training and onsite experience obtained within the last 5 years
- Demonstrated knowledge and valid training certificate in Pest Control completed within the last 5 years. (will certify)
- Strong practical understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and GFSI Certification standards.
