POSITION SUMMARY The Die Handler supports production by setting up, maintaining, and organizing dies. Working closely with the team, the Die Handler helps meet deadlines, maintain quality, and develop skills in die maintenance and the extrusion process. This role is crucial to the success of the production team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Die Setup & Maintenance :  Play a key role in setting up dies based on production schedules and ensuring their upkeep through cleaning, sandblasting, and handling rush orders. Hands-on Work :  Use your expertise with hand tools (like hammers, chisels, and die grinders) to keep everything running smoothly. Tool & Die Management :  Organize dies, maintain a clean work area, and ensure everything is in its proper place— including returning dies to the warehouse after production. Team Collaboration :  Work alongside your teammates to meet deadlines, stay on track, and assist wherever necessary. Your contribution is vital to the team’s success! Learning & Growth :  This position offers the opportunity to learn new skills, from working with chemicals to understanding the extrusion process and gaining hands-on experience with equipment like the drill press. WHO YOU ARE College degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field. Education : High school diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Experience : Previous experience working with tools or in a similar role is beneficial. Additional Skills : Experience with the extrusion process, drill presses, blueprint reading, and welding is a plus! Clear Communication : Effective communication is essential as you’ll be interacting with the team regularly. Attention to Detail : We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye to ensure precision and quality in all tasks. Self-Motivation : You’re a proactive individual who works well independently with minimal supervision. Team Player : A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for collaborating with others. Physical Endurance : This role requires standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting, so being physically fit and comfortable in this environment is important.
