Description de posteMaster’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, or related field. 5+ years in systems engineering, with experience in power conversion, solar, energy storage, EVs, or microgrids. Strong background in requirements development, product testing, and certification. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting complex systems and problem-solving methodologies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in both technical and stakeholder-facing discussions. Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead system architecture, design, and integration for next-generation energy solutions. You’ll drive end-to-end systems engineering, including requirements development, cost trade-offs, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on verification & validation testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Define system / subsystem requirements, ensuring compliance with SAE J1772, IEC 61851, ISO 15118, and OCPP standards.
- Lead design, integration, and testing of EV charging systems (AC / DC charging, power electronics, communication protocols).
- Develop technical specs, functional specs, DFMEA, verification plans, and collaborate across teams on hardware / software components.
- Apply V-model systems development for validation and testing.
- Work with regulatory bodies (UL, CSA, NEC / NFPA) to ensure compliance.
