Job Summary
Work-Able Graduate Internship Program for People with Disabilities
The Work-Able Internship Program is a paid twelve-month BC Public Service work experience program for recent post-secondary graduates who self-identify as having a disability. This unique program provides learning, coaching and mentorship throughout the internship and interns will gain valuable skills and public service experience.All applicants receive coaching throughout the recruitment process regardless of whether they are successful at securing an internship.

Multiple full-time and part-time internship positions are available from September 8, 2025,to September 4, 2026.

Qualifications :
To be eligible for the Work-Able Internship Program you must :
- Self-identify as a person with a disability; and
- Must reside in B.C. for the duration of the program September 8, 2025 - September 4, 2026; and
- Have completed the graduation requirements for a 2-year Diploma, Associate Degree, Under-graduate Degree or a Graduate Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution between the dates of September 2022and September 2025.
Note : You may be required to provide medical documentationabout your disability to assist usin providing accommodation support.

About these Positions :
There are multiple full-time and part-time internship positions available from September 8, 2025,to September 4, 2026.
Internships may be located in multiple communities around the Province of BC. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Some positions may have flexible work options available; these positions may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Some positions may work up to full time from their home in B.C. subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Some positions may have on-site requirements.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required. Some positions may require a Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) or Enhanced Security Screening (ESS).
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
