The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They should not be afraid to go out onto the production floor to get things done and possess a "can-do" attitude. Strong computer skills are also essential, as the candidate will need to work regularly with Microsoft Office programs and the ERP system.Job Duties : Ensure Master Production Schedule is always up to date. Continuously check and monitor completion dates, material deliveries and other information to ensure IEM maintains its commitment of delivering our product on time to our customers.Collaborate with project management groups and operations to level load production schedules to meet capacity requirements.Maintain status updates from Production and Testing teams on the master production schedule.Collaborate with Fabrication Scheduler for all made to order fabricated material. Ensure the material will be completed in time for the production start date.Schedule Production Orders in ERP system. Maintain accurate scheduled ship dates and labour hours required for each operation.Work with the Supply Chain group by communicating expediting needs and ETA improvements. Inquire with them about material ETAs and need by dates on a daily / weekly cadence.Follow up on outstanding BOM material and maintain current ETAs to align with production start dates.Ensure accurate and timely ERP transactions to drive material and labor demandReport on key metrics such as run rates, average labour hours, and other key metrics identified by IEM Management.Maintain and update department work instructions and process maps per the ISO and QMS standards.Continuously seek improvement opportunities within the planning department and collaborate with the manufacturing manager and planners / schedulers to determine and implement best practices.Ensure all RMA replacements are addressed and brought to production in a timely manner.As required.Requirements : A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is requiredHigh School Diploma with some Post Secondary Education in Business and / or equivalent in work experienceExperience with ERP systems including master scheduling and production planning modules (Infor preferred).Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing processes.Broad experience with continuous improvement and critical thinking tools (lean manufacturing a plus).High expertise with Microsoft Excel, and solid skills with Word, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong written and oral communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of the business.A collaborative style due to the high impact of the planning process on the overall operation.Attention to detail, great attendance, professionalism and ability to lead others
