The Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to join the Compliance Department at Solace Power, a leader in the wireless technology industry. The Environmental Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company’s operations and products comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental laws, standards, and practices, as well as the ability to assess and mitigate potential environmental risks in relation to our business activities.

Your Day-to-Day at Solace Power :

• Environmental Compliance Management : Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to wireless technology, telecommunications, automotive and other markets. Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental reports, permits, and filings as required by regulatory bodies and customers. Advise senior leadership on environmental compliance matters, providing guidance on potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Training and Awareness : Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on environmental compliance requirements, policies, and sustainable practices. Keep teams updated on changing environmental laws and regulations, ensuring that they are well-informed of their roles in maintaining compliance.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to ensure environmental requirements are integrated into product development and operational processes.
• Collaborate with external partners, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to stay informed on new regulations and environmental trends.
• Testing & Validation : Develop test plans and conduct necessary testing to verify that products meet environmental standards.
• Reporting & Documentation : Maintain thorough records of environmental compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions. Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of environmental compliance and ongoing projects. Ensure accurate and timely reporting for regulatory purposes.
