STC is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rails and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of the Scarborough Transit Connect project, we are looking for an Environmental Quality Manager to join our team.
What You Will Do :
- Responsible for following the Quality Manual and its related processes, the Environmental Management System and the various project specific environmental procedures or plans.
- Support QA / QC awareness for all environmental related activities, and provide training as necessary.
- Prepare and conduct Quality Audits of the Environmental Management Systems and the requirements outlined in the Environmental Obligations of the Project Agreement.
- Prepare Audit Reports, compile audit findings, and conduct follow ups.
- Identify and document opportunities for improvements as well as facilitate lessons learn meetings.
- Verify that any equipment that requires so, is fit for purpose, is properly calibrated, and maintained as required.
- Identify, review, and report Non-Conformances. Support the disposition of Non-Conformances.
- Support identification of root cause of Non-Conformances and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality records pertaining to their assigned portion of work.
- Participate in Quality meetings with the Client and support the Quality Director in environmental related matters.
- Other duties as requested by the Quality Director.
