Responsibilities
- Review Client Onboarding approvals and client set up information for clients and ensure client and account setups are accurately programmed in various Book of Record and internal systems in a timely manner.
- Support daily operational tasks, ensuring timely and accurate data validation, data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Understand and maintain automated solutions & bulk data setup capabilities that are utilized to meet the growing demands of the business.
- Own and manage business as usual processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including front office and senior leadership, to support trade settlements, client reporting, and compliance activities.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in existing processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the operations function.
- Assist in the testing, verification, and implementation of system updates and enhancements to ensure alignment with the bank’s operational strategy.
- Play a key role in identifying and resolving operational risks through careful data analysis and proactive troubleshooting.
- Achieve an exceptional standard of error free processing by ensuring accurate inputting of data to mitigate risk (e.g., reputational, financial, regulatory, operational risk)
- Analyze and resolve exceptions from various reconciliation processes and automations.
- Respond and resolve customers' concerns using standard procedures and escalating non-standard activities, as necessary.
- Undertaking project tasks as required and ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness.
- Demonstrate Framework and shared commitments in daily activities.
Qualifications
Must have :
Operations experience
Strong excel knowledge
Data mgmt experience- analyze / identify trends
Strong communication
Work in a fast paced role
Nice to have :
Settlement instruction
Prior client setup and SSI knowledge is an asset
