Description de posteInterpret electrical code specifications. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Journeyman Electrician Certification or equivalent is required. A minimum of 3 years residential experience is required. At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience required. Arial Work Platfrom Certification. Fall Arrest Certification. H2S Alive. CSTS 09, and WHMIS 2015 are required. You are able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg. Arial Work Platform Certification. Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging / Hoisting and Hand. Signals, and First Aid / CPR certification would be an asset. You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team. A reliable means of transportation is required. Proficient English language skills required. A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
Journeyman Electrician - Residential

Key Information :
- Must have a strong background as a residential electrician.
- Must have the ability to read and understand technical guides, drawings and specifications.
- Hours : Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
- Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
