Good morning, I am Romane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for Finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions. I am looking for a Payroll Manager for my client in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode with only 2 days in the office in Granby.
- Process the payroll of approximately 250 weekly and bi-weekly employees as well as executive payroll;
- Ensure that salaries are accurately calculated and paid to employees in accordance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Prepare pay statements;
- Comply with all legislative requirements regarding disclosure, tax reporting and withholding;
- Ensure the production of statements and reports, annual reports (CNESST, CARRA, T4 Summary, etc.);
- Respond to requests from managers and employees regarding various problems and make the necessary corrections (payroll errors, salary, vacation, taxable benefits, taxes, etc.);
- Administer the maintenance of employee data (including the preparation of detailed reports, e.g. overtime, leave balances, various bonuses and pension contribution reports);
- Process job terminations according to the rules established by government levels;
- Act as super user for the HR Information System (Ceridian / Dayforce);
- Support the human resources team in various administrative tasks and in process optimization.
- DEC in administration, finance or related field;
- Accumulate 3 years of relevant experience in dealing with the complete payroll cycle and legislative payroll rules;
- Mastery of the MS Office suite including an intermediate level of Excel software;
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in French and English (for communication with internal and external clients);
- Comfort with payroll systems;
- Hold an accreditation from the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) (As an asset, if you do not have it, it will be planned for you during your first year);
- Very good sense of organization and priority management;
- Possess a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, precision and rigor;
