As a Special Operations Guard, you'll be part of a highly adaptable team that provides security coverage across multiple client sites. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, can quickly assess risk, and are confident responding to a wide range of security situations. Responsibilities for Special Operations Guard

Site Operations

• Adapt quickly to the operational requirements of multiple client sites.
• Provide on-call coverage for high-risk locations and critical operational needs.
• Learn and follow all site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Security Operations

• Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify the identification of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Perform security inspections and ensure the integrity of security systems.

Incident Reporting

• Complete accurate, detailed, and professional incident, activity, and daily reports.
• Maintain documentation that supports investigations, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Review reports to identify trends and potential security concerns.

Conflict Resolution & Emergency Response

• De-escalate conflicts using professional communication and sound judgment.
• Respond effectively to high-pressure situations while maintaining safety.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and client representatives when required.
• Lead or assist with emergency evacuations and provide First Aid within the scope of your training.

Operational Readiness

• Quickly adapt to new sites, procedures, technologies, and client expectations.
• Maintain readiness for rapid deployment to various locations.
• Participate in specialized site training and remain current on security practices and regulations.

Risk Assessment & Professionalism

• Identify suspicious activity and proactively report security risks.
• Recommend improvements to enhance site security.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service.
• Represent GardaWorld with integrity while building strong client relationships.
• Work independently or collaboratively and provide guidance to fellow security professionals when needed.

Qualifications for Special Operations Guard

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Ability to meet the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities
• Advanced report writing and documentation skills
• Proficient with data entry and comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer applications
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and operational requirements
• Available to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
