Description de poste

Arobas Personnel is seeking a Microsoft Operational Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our clients located in Montreal.

  • Remote : Hybrid- 1 days / week in the office

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Serve as the operational lead for Microsoft 365 throughout a tenant-to-tenant migration project.
  • Administer and troubleshoot cross-tenant directory synchronization (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Cross-Tenant Sync).
  • Maintain and support Quest Migration Manager components (e.g., rewrite configurations, mailbox migrations, GAL synchronization).
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless coexistence and staged migrations .
  • Monitor and maintain the overall health and performance of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) across multiple tenants.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable mail flow during migration phases, including rewrite and redirect processes.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to user synchronization, licensing, permissions , and hybrid identity management.

    • What are we looking for?

  • Degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience administering and operating Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-tenant M365 migrations , especially with Quest Migration Manager and Rewrite Services .
  • In-depth understanding of Entra ID , Azure AD Cross-Tenant Sync , and hybrid identity frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in managing Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive .
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation across M365 and Entra ID.
  • Solid knowledge of mail routing , MX records , and identity federation strategies.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced project environments .
  • Experience managing large-scale Windows environments (1,500+ servers).
  • Strong background in Active Directory , Exchange / Exchange Online , and Office 365 .
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, routing) and Windows Server licensing .
  • Familiarity with tools like SCCM , SolarWinds , VMware , Group Policy , Kerberos , LDAP , and SharePoint .

    • Nice-to-haves :

  • Experience migrating from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID .
  • Background in hybrid cloud identity or large-scale IT infrastructure projects .
