About this opportunity :

The Manager, Facilities Engineering is responsible for all aspects of the SeaRose FPSO & WWR mechanical, naval, civil / structural, drilling system design, operability, safety and facilities optimization. The Manager, Facilities Engineering is responsible for leading a top engineering team in St. John’s managing SeaRose FPSO & WWR systems. The successful candidate will ensure consistency, quality and integrity of the engineering deliverables.

This position is a full time, permanent position, located at our St. John’s office.

What you’ll do :

Manage and direct a Facilities Engineering team providing top-tier engineering services to Atlantic Region Operations.

Identify and develop options to improve system uptime, enhance safety, and boost economic performance.

Share responsibility with Sr. Manager, Operations Engineering for compliance with regulations and standards.

Act as Field Responsible Engineer (FRE) for various systems, providing technical support.

Coordinate the development and execution of OPEX and CAPEX engineering budgets.

Lead and participate in Risk Analysis and Emergency Response Planning.

Who you are :

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree, P. Eng

Member in good standing or eligible for registration with PEGNL

Minimum 12 years' experience in a progressively responsible engineering role within the oil and gas industry

Skills in Business Management Software (SAP)

Experience leading a professional engineering team in the oil & gas industry

In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, with working knowledge of offshore installations

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to pre-placement Fitness for Work assessments, which includes drug and alcohol screening, a medical and driver’s abstract review.
