Salary or Pay Band : Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Coordinator $39.654 to $48.451

Job Description : Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service within the community and provides assessment, treatment and transportation in adherence Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and organization policies, procedures and protocols.

Education

  • Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 4 driver's license

    • Other Education and Training

  • International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

    • Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

    • Other Information

  • Registered / eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP / EMT-P
  • HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO / HSAS Collective Agreement
