The Division of Nephrology, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ an open rank Transplant Nephrologist.
This position offers the opportunity for the potential faculty member to join a team of nephrologists providing clinical services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) and at the academic practices of the medical school. As a Transplant Nephrologist, there will be a focus on :
- Direct care of renal and pancreas transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors (includes pre-transplant evaluation of candidates / living donors, inpatient care of transplant recipients / living donors, and post-transplant management of recipients / living donors in the outpatient clinic).
- Assist the on-call general nephrologist for transplant-related issues.
- Daily transplant teaching rounds of fellows / house staff, including didactic lectures as well as interdisciplinary rounds while on the inpatient transplant service.
- Review charts, laboratory studies, radiology, and diagnostic studies for transplant candidates and recipients.

Minimum Education and Experience :
MD / DO or equivalent
Board eligible in Internal Medicine and / or Nephrology
Certifications / Licenses : Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
