In this role, the Coordinator will manage the activities related to packaging artwork from creation for new products, to their revision, their approval and readiness to the printers or third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate the activities related to packaging artwork
Act as main liaison with all departments and gather the information required
Revise product components artwork (design, text, format, size, code) and make necessary corrections
Ensure the graphic standards meet Health Canada requirements
Coordinate the approval process with stakeholders (Marketing, Packaging specialists, QA, Third party partners or suppliers)
Ensure files are properly managed, filed and saved
Fill and keep updated the database for project follow-up and reference.
Create all required purchase requests for printed packaging material preparation (pre-press, typographic and proof fees).
Communicate with suppliers or external resources to prepare proofs for packaging artwork
Approve proofs sent by suppliers
Follow up with the stakeholders
Execute all other related functions
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Bachelor’s degree or College or professional diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years of experience in administrative support or project coordination
Experience in customer service
Bilingual (French & English), spoken and written
Strong organizational skills
Attentive to detail
Oriented on objectives and problem solving
Autonomous
Interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly
Team spirit
Works well under pressure while managing multiple priorities, projects and deadlines
Advanced knowledge with MS Office
Knowledge of printing techniques and graphic design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) an asset.
