Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic cloud engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with development teams, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. This is a hands-on role where you will apply your expertise in AWS and cloud technologies to deliver robust cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Cloud Architecture & Design :
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design cloud solutions that meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency goals.
Deployment & Automation :
Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Management & Monitoring :
Monitor and optimize AWS resources and cloud services for performance, cost, and security.
Security & Compliance :
Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Cost Optimization :
Analyze AWS usage and make recommendations for optimizing costs, including resource rightsizing and selecting the most cost-effective AWS services.
Disaster Recovery & Backups :
Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies in the cloud.
Collaboration & Support :
Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, IT, and DevOps to support cloud application development and operations.
Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain detailed technical documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
Technical Skills :
Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices.
Certifications (Preferred) :
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills :
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues.
Collaboration & Communication Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Preferred) :
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
