Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Advanced Cyclotron Systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing industrial electrical equipment within our cyclotron systems. This role also involves maintaining AC systems in the production bay. We are a small, close-knit team that values collaboration and quick learning, so an individual with these qualities would be an excellent addition to our team.
What You'll Do :
- Ensure all electrical work meets safety regulations and codes to prevent hazards and accidents.
- Install electrical wiring, power supplies, motors, pumps, electrical cabinets, solenoids, switches, actuators and other components according to schematics and electrical codes.
- Perform routine maintenance of the Production bay electrical systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose electrical problems at factory acceptance test and perform repairs to restore functionality through precision and accuracy.
- Use test equipment to test electrical systems, motors, pumps, power supplies for proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Team collaboration with other ACSI team members, electrical engineers, managers to ensure smooth workflow and project completion and to improve lead time and functionality.
- Provide guidance and feedback to the design team for manufacturability and assist with improvement of design and manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly is an asset.
- Interact with ERP systems and Microsoft office software.
- International travel to customer sites is required.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
