Under the direction of the Deli Manager, a Deli Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members as well ensuring merchandising and image standards for the department are maintained to deliver solutions that matter most to the customer. The Deli clerk supports the operational goals of the department. Key responsibilities are but not limited to :
- Responsible for providing customer service in the Deli department ensuring customer are the first priority
- Operating deli- including merchandising, slicing, and packaging
- Preparing fresh packaged products
- Housekeeping and sanitization
- Maintenance of hot meals and chicken program and popcorn
