Description de poste

Responsibilities :

  • Act as the main point of contact for all survey activities
  • Interpreting 3D Drawings for field control and convey engineering drawing details to Operations and Project teams
  • Perform topographical surveys
  • As-built active mining and development areas
  • Maintain as-built maps accurate record keeping
  • Assist Geology with material type identification (PAG / NAG, Ore / Waste) and staking in field
  • Survey underground utilities as required and maintain an accurate infrastructure as-built map and conduct aerial drone survey of the mine site
  • Lead a team of 2-3 surveyors

Successful candidates will have :

  • A Minimum of 3 years of related experience is required
  • Experience leading / managing a team of 2-3 surveyors
  • Mining / Industrial experience is essential
  • Knowledge and experience working with RTK GPS equipment and surveying software
  • Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.), GIS programs (ArcGIS); experience with 3D mine modeling software is an asset (AutoCAD, Deswik)
  • Must have past demonstrated experience in helping build a strong safety culture, as well as awareness of, and adherence to, all required health and safety best practices
  • Must be able to work a rotational schedule in a remote mining camp
