Job Details :

Languages : English or French

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 3 to 5 years

Job Type : On-site work (No remote option)

Work Setting : Industrial, staff accommodation provided, willing to relocate

Responsibilities :

Interpret welding process specifications

Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment

Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards

Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines

Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal

Determine the weldability of materials

Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Use pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts

Monitor robotic welding production lines

Maintain and repair welding, brazing, and soldering equipment

Experience and Specialization :

Welding Techniques :

Resistance, spot, or seam welding

Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)

Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)

Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)

Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

Plasma arc welding (PAW)

Submerged arc welding (SAW)

Brazing and soldering

Equipment and Machinery Experience :

Arc welding machines

Soldering machines

Area of Specialization :

Machinery or equipment repair

Structural construction

Additional Information :

Security & Safety : Criminal record check required

Transportation / Travel Information : Travel expenses paid by employer

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities : Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination

Weight Handling : Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Own Tools / Equipment : Steel-toed safety boots

Requirements to Work in Canada as a Foreign National :

Meet the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) eligibility criteria.

Provide proof of educational qualifications and work experience.

Pass a criminal background check.

Obtain a work permit and visa sponsorship from the employer.

Undergo a medical examination if required.

Demonstrate language proficiency (English or French).
