Job Title : Supplier Quality Engineer

Department : Quality Assurance

Reports To : Director, Quality

Job Purpose :

The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures the quality and consistency of supplier processes and components. This role involves supplier engagement, process audits, and issue resolution to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage supplier quality processes, including PPAP, control plans, and validation.
  • Monitor supplier performance, implement corrective actions, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
  • Manage third-party inspections and containment activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or a related field.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, metrology, and GD&T.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent) and CMM programming.
  • Experience with ISO 13485, cGMP, and Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
