The Director of Care role is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate, dedicated and energetic leader to ensure the highest standards of care are provided to their residents and clients by leading and managing the care team.

What you will be doing in this role :

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents / clients.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care team.

Ensure that all care services are delivered in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.

Develop and manage budgets.

Sound knowledge of relevant long term care legislation is essential.

What you must have : Must be an RN

5+ years of experience as a prior Director of Care within a Long Term Care Facility

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
