We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in supporting high-performance infrastructure for multiplayer game development. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage software systems, cloud / on-premise infrastructure, and workflows to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring 5 days per week in in a centrally located office, near Skytrain and many shops and restaurants.The role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000–$130,000 annually, extended health and dental benefits, retirement savings plans, paid vacation, and studio shutdown over the December holidays.RequirementsAs a DevOps Engineer, you’ll contribute to developing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure and automated processes to support large-scale game development projects. Key qualifications include : 3+ years of production experience working as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer, ideally within the games industry.AWS services (e.G., EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and CLI tools.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform; automation tools like Ansible / Chef.CI / CD frameworks (e.G., Jenkins, GitLab).Containerization technologies (e.G., Docker).Scripting languages (e.G., Python, Bash, Shell).Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments, networking, observability tools, and database systems.Strong understanding of cloud security measures and compliance requirements.How to Apply : Ready to take the next step on this exciting opportunity?
