Description de poste
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead the technical modernization and integration of the legacy AERO platform. This role is a strategic bridge between legacy codebases and modern development standards. You will be responsible for refactoring older systems while implementing cutting-edge DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. This position requires a high degree of technical leadership, including the ability to perform deep root-cause analysis and mentor junior programmers in building secure, scalable, and maintainable code.

Pay Rate: $478.19- $515.08/Diem

Advantages
- Own the modernization roadmap for a mission-critical platform, deciding the best path between refactoring and selective rewrites.

- Drive the adoption of automated workflows and CI/CD best practices in a complex, multi-tiered environment.

- Shape the next generation of developers by establishing coding guidelines and fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

- Work at the unique intersection of object-oriented legacy frameworks and modern web-based REST services.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases while preserving critical business logic. Collaborate on "update vs. rewrite" strategies to ensure long-term system sustainability.

- Design and construct REST API services and integrate them with front-end UI. Ensure the entire stack is optimized for speed, scalability, and security.

- Lead the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Implement automated workflows for building, testing, and deploying across multiple environments.

- Perform extensive technical investigations into system gaps and performance bottlenecks, presenting viable solution paths with detailed risk assessments.

- Develop and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit. Enforce coding standards through rigorous code reviews and developer QA support.

- Produce high-level architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and API documentation. Ensure all changes align with established organizational standards.

- Establish coding guidelines and foster team collaboration. Monitor the work of junior developers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.

Qualifications
- Proven software development history, with a focus on adapting and modernizing legacy systems.

- Deep proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Oracle PL/SQL, and the Spring.NET Framework.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, complemented by PowerShell or Bash scripting.

- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, the full SDLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/RAD).

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., AODA) and experience implementing "Internet-ready" secure applications.

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Azure Developer Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, or DevOps Engineer Expert.

Summary
If you are a Senior Developer who thrives on technical puzzles, enjoys deep-diving into legacy logic to find modern solutions, and has the leadership skills to guide a team through a digital transformation, we encourage you to apply today!
