Salary Range $45000 $60000 Bonuses
The Strategic Development Program (SDP) is a fulltime entry level position where you will learn handson and receive the guidance mentoring and support you need to be successful in your career at EMCO. The ideal candidate is someone that takes ownership of working in a warehouse environment for the first 1 to 2 years. You need to be hard working great with people and able to work collaboratively in a team environment. The manager in Lethbridge is committed and interested in investing in you teaching you the business and the industry from the ground up. You will learn from existing teammates who are excited to share their knowledge and help you learn and acquire the skills you will need to progress in your development.
Whether you see yourself in sales management operations or customer service the Strategic Development Program will prepare you to create your ideal career. Successful graduates of the program have continued their careers with EMCO in various positions such as Senior Account Managers Technical Sales Specialists Purchasers Operations Managers and more!
Development Plan Responsibilities and Duties :
Phase 1 Warehouse Logistics You will learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer and actively participate in the warehouse logistics role to understand and provide sales support.
Phase 2 Operations You will actively get involved and learn our frontline customer service counter sales order management inventory and pricing controls credit management financial statements and more
Phase 3 Inside Sales / Project Management Over time you will go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing largescale time sensitive projects.
Phase 4 Outside Sales / Account Management You will learn how to find new business opportunities sell our products negotiate contracts and build customer and vendor relationships.
Phase 5 In this phase you can take all of your training and determine your ideal career path.
