Responsibilities

Work on a new requirement for database infrastructure maintenance and development.

Build new functionality and maintain existing infrastructure required to support the environment.

Work on various database-related infrastructure / automation projects that require the development or maintenance of modules / scripts using Python and Ksh.

Responsible for development unit level testing and integration testing.

Complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Deliver projects on time.

Skills Required

years of experience

Understanding scripting is a core requirement.

Strong Python scripting

Experience with revision control systems.

Strong Unix shell scripting (in particular Korn Shell)

Good database knowledge

Knowledge of Perl is a plus
