Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site in Ontario, Manitoba or Alberta and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Manager, Data Governance, Quality and Standards to join our dynamic IT Internal Customer Experience team.

The IT Internal Customer Experience team is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for internal users within Canadian Blood Services who interact with IT services and systems.

Reporting to the Associate Director of the Data & Analytics Center for Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in defining data governance strategies, dimensions and maturity across the enterprise and creating related frameworks, reference architecture, processes, and solutions to support this.

You will lead the development, implementation and compliance of Canadian Blood Services data policies, standards, guidelines, and frameworks while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role will work closely with other data teams across the enterprise to ensure data governance standards and best practices are being applied consistently across the organization, particularly as it relates to data quality, metadata management, data cataloguing, data lineage, data retention and disposition, access management.
