Role and Facility Information

Town Circle Medical Clinic is located in Comox and nestled within the Comox Valley Primary Care Network (PCN). It is a cohesive group of four dedicated family physicians. We are looking for a physician to replace one member of the group. This opportunity will appeal to someone who wishes to care for their patients in a positive, team‑based environment in a semi‑rural setting with the ability to tailor their practice.

Clinic Resources

Our clinic has access to all community‑wide PCN and Community Health Services allied health resources, including a PCN Mental Health Consultant and Social Worker who each attend the clinic one day per week. This collaboration allows complex case management and mental health counselling by the appropriate dedicated provider. In our clinic, all providers’ desks are in a spacious collaborative office to allow mutual support and easy consultation, fantastic for new graduates and for FPs who enjoy connection with their colleagues.

Our clinic is equipped with Intrahealth’s Profile EMR, which is supported by reliable computers to ensure seamless workflows and data security. Our same‑day booking system allows us to streamline appointment scheduling, making it easy for our team to provide efficient, patient‑centered care without the stress of fitting in multiple extra urgent visits. This booking system also provides flexibility for physicians' schedules as it accommodates last‑minute personal, family, and professional needs without the need to re‑book patients.

Additional Information

Part‑time position – 24 hours of clinic hours per week which permits time for other clinical pursuits.

Overhead : Equally split between four physicians. Currently $4,800 per month per physician.

Start date : As soon as possible.
