Description de poste4 Year University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of working experience in an audit / risk position. Strong understanding of IT best practices, particularly in Risk Management and Audits. Familiarity with Sox Audits and ICOFR Audits, with basic knowledge of their implementation. Proven experience in stakeholder management, collaborating across multiple teams and departments. Ability to perform risk assessments, gap analysis, and identify areas for improvement. General understanding of IT systems, including access controls, firewall risks, and endpoint security (e.g., laptops). Experience with SCCM, cloud environments, and the creation of policy documents aligned with standards like NIST or ISO.

JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Consultant.
Reporting to the Section Head Information Systems, this position is responsible for leading and conducting cybersecurity assessments, policy gap analysis, and risk evaluations based on established frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS, while advising business units and subsidiaries on governance, risk, and compliance best practices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform policy gap and control assessments against cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, CIS, and ISO.
- Review and enhance cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes for IT and OT systems.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and KRIs for the Cyber Governance Security Program.
- Advise business units and OPG subsidiaries on best practices for governance, risk, and compliance.
- Lead cybersecurity projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Represent OPG Cyber Security in external committees and forums.
- Conduct third-party cyber risk assessments and manage vendor adherence to cybersecurity terms.
- Develop security awareness training, conduct phishing simulations, and maintain risk registers and GRC tools.
