The Sales Director will lead a growing asset backed transportation company, driving revenue growth and profitability within the truck transportation sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage the mixed-experience sales team to maximize performance.
Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Set and monitor key performance indicators for sales team effectiveness.
Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the transportation or logistics industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
