Job Description

Mechanical Designer Requirements :

Have a background in engineering, manufacturing, design or similar industry.

Experience working ECO's and updating models / drawings

Experience creating BOM's and cut lists

Have experience using SolidWorks, specifically working with :

Solid parts

Surfaces

Sheet metal

Weldments

Drawings

Experience using Sketchup, AutoCAD, or Rhino is a plus

Able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team but also work effectively in a solo environment

Have excellent attention to detail

Possess excellent organization skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently

Have a creative mind and willingness to think outside the box.

Mechanical Designer Description :

The Mechanical Designer role is best suited to someone with experience in custom manufacturing and design who is comfortable devising creative solutions to technical problems. The Mechanical Designer will primarily focus on producing fabrication drawings and installation instructions for our engineering and fabrication crews. Other responsibilities may include producing assembly models for basic playgrounds that can be used to produce fabrication drawings and bills of materials, conducting product revisions and contributing to design optimizations, updating standard details, and supporting continuous improvement projects.
